The Customer Service Representative will handle calls, process orders, collaborate with other departments, build relationships with key decision makers, undertake special projects, and maintain compliance with ISO certification. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, work independently, and prioritize safety and attendance.
Primary Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Receive inbound calls and emails and promptly address or direct customer issues to the appropriate department or personnel for timely resolution.
- Developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with key decision makers within major accounts.
- Provide customers with accurate pricing and availability information and process orders over the phone and via email while maintaining relevant documentation in SAP.
- Enter and maintain customer information in CRM.
- Undertaking special projects and other duties as assigned including selling from the excess and obsolete part report.
- Ensuring regular attendance according to the assigned schedule provided by the supervisor.
- Collaborate with other departments daily to get accurate information to the customer and ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of customer inquiries related to deliveries, pricing, and general information.
- Initiating outbound calls to customers, including conducting marketing surveys or sales leads through advertising.
- Promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
- Handle routine tasks such as taking orders, providing pricing and availability information, processing complaints, returns, and credits, and promptly obtaining information requested by customers.
Adhering to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 certification requirements
Knowledge and Skill Requirement:
This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, college preferred.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Skills required: analytical skills, typing skills, 10-key skills and basic math skills.
- Basic understanding of office procedures.
- Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft package or related software desired.
- Good telephone etiquette.
- Proficient sales skills, working with all levels of sales and distribution channels.
- Ability to handle product inquiries.
- Basic understanding of features, advantages and benefits for all products.
- Basic understanding of competition.
- Ability to handle guests (clients) during visit to the company.
Environmental / Atmospheric Conditions:
- Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production areas.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
- Primary work in a climate-controlled office environment.
- Visual strain for more than 50% of the time.
- Eye/Hand coordination for than 50% of the time.
